The North-Westerly bluff once again, now in late February, with the Porto do Corgo do Mó in seasonal flooding. Dozens of storks and dizzying flights of white cattle egrets (Bubulcus ibis) gather here in the protection of the steep valleys, feeding, breeding and preening, making the rainy season perhaps the most attractive - as long as you don´t have to slog through the mud, or get stuck with your jeep.
