Avalokiteshvara (Guanyin) China c. 15th century Bronze, traces of guilding Height 63 cm Avalokiteshvara (Guanyin), Ming Period (15th C.), beautifully restrained, almost austere styling, with traces of guilding. The patina is grayish green, with a very fine grain, almost dusty to the touch. Overall condition excellent, the only blemish being a small part missing in the tiara.
